KABOOM! is a national nonprofit dedicated to uniting with communities to build kid-designed playspaces that can spark joy and foster a sense of belonging for the kids who are often deinied opportunities to thrive.

The Alumni Grant program furthers the relationship between The CarMax Foundation and KABOOM! build partners, allowing nonprofits to request funds for playground improvements, maintenance, or needed repairs. Priority will be given to requests for urgent repairs and maintenance. The Alumni partner must have been awarded a KABOOM! playground through The CarMax Foundation partnership. Applications can be submitted throughout the year as needs arise and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
